What are Coffin Nails?

Coffins are nothing fun, unless you use that term to describe the fun shape of your nails! What are coffin nails? Today, the nail supply expert Maryton will give you answers. Just keep reading!

The word coffin defines the shape and has no real link with the Gothic fashion which is increasingly in vogue. Coffin nails are long like stiletto nails, but instead of having a pointed tip at the end, they flatten out to look like a coffin. Some people also call them ballerina nails because they look like the square ends of ballet slippers.

The coffin shape is a better descriptor, as the nails have a more angular and defined shape, and when done well, there is very little rounding. Ideally, a coffin-shaped manicure will have the same dimensions as a stiletto-shaped manicure.
